What Exactly Is the Starter Kit?
The Starter Kit is the foundation of the Digital Binder Template System.
It's a complete template kit (made exclusively for Affinity) with everything you need to create and sell your own 2-page landscape, binder-style digital planners.
This template kit is broken into two main parts:
- First there's the Planner Base. This is what gives your digital planner its pretty, realistic binder look. Here you'll find your covers, tabs, dividers, binder rings, etc.
- Next is the Page Content. The content is everything that sits on top of your base. Here you'll find your text boxes, calendars, lines, tables, and hyperlinks.
You get both with the Starter Kit, along with all of the tutorials and instructions you need to customize your templates and put everything together.
What Is an Expansion Pack?
Expansion Packs are perfect for when you're ready to expand your Digital Binder product line.
Instead of purchasing another complete template kit every time you want to create something new, Expansion Packs give you a new set of content to use with the base you already have. They're basically new outfits for your Starter Kit!
Think dated calendars, different start dates, niche-specific layouts, and more!
The base stays the same, so you can keep all those fabulous binder-style details you already love. You're simply swapping out the original page content that sits on top of your base for something new.
It's a faster, more affordable way to create even more digital planners for your shop using the Starter Kit you already own.
How Do They Work Together?
The Starter Kit + Expansion Pack system gives you the flexibility to create as much — or as little — as you'd like.
Your Starter Kit is a complete template kit all on its own, so you never need to purchase anything else to use it.
But if you decide you'd like to grow your Digital Binder product line, Expansion Packs give you an affordable way to create additional versions without purchasing another complete template kit each time.
So you can start with one Digital Binder, add new versions whenever you'd like, and gradually build an entire collection of coordinating products for your shop.
